      The Bahrain Bayan School (“BBS”) is an independent, non-profit, co-educational, bilingual school (Arabic and English), providing American and Arabic Curriculum programs to students from grades Kindergarten through 12. It is accredited and licensed by the Ministry of Education, according to the Kingdom of Bahrain Government Laws and Regulations.

      As Part of the “Healthier Community” initiative the Bahrain Bayan School introduced the Bayan On-Call helpline service available to all parents and students. A supervisor has been assigned by the school to be present on campus on a daily basis until 9 pm as a point of contact between the parents and the school in case of any inquiries.

Bayan Post 11 and 12 Wednesday The Bayan Post Club

The Bayan Post Club issues a monthly newsletter addressing various trending local and global topics that interest the student body. The club consists of Grade 11 and 12 dedicated writers who compose articles and design templates to produce a creative school magazine.
Charity Club 9-11 Wednesday The Charity Club raises awareness about social issues and different causes, educating students about global and local challenges. It encourages students to give back to their communities and support various causes, fostering a sense of social responsibility and empathy. It also offers practical experiences in organizing events, fundraising, and working with non-profit organizations, which can be valuable for students’ future endeavors.
ECOBOOSTERS 11 and 12 Sunday By being a member of the ECOBOOSTERS CLUB, you will have an opportunity to lead and develop projects, plan and attend workshops and take part in competitions on Sustainability and world issues such as Global Warming, Climate Change, Pollution etc. Being a member of the club will help you author scientific reports and feature and produce educational videos on Environmental Issues. You CAN make a difference in this world! Sign up and be the Change you want to see in the world! Help make a difference by leading the way to Sustainable Solutions! Infinity Math Mentors High school mentors, Middle and Primary school participants Tuesday The objective of this activity is to provide additional academic assistance in mathematics and cover some gaps that students face during their transition from middle to high school.

The activity will operate as a peer tutoring and mentoring program. High school students will be invited to participate as mentors, supporting younger students with their mathematics learning.
LAMDA Public Speaking 9-12 Tuesday LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) offers examinations that are accredited by the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). It progresses from Foundation to Intermediate and Advanced Levels, where the Foundation and Intermediate Levels students are awarded LAMDA Certificates. The Advanced Level students are awarded Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals in addition to LAMDA Certificates, and UCAS points supporting their university applications.

In this Public Speaking LAMDA course, students will develop the confidence to deliver powerful and engaging speeches, as they build the foundations of effective public speaking. Learners will write their own speeches, research topics, create visual aids, and present them from memory. They will also develop the ability to speak clearly and project their voice to an audience. Students will discover the techniques they require to engage an audience and structure their speech effectively. This course prepares the students to take the official examination in LAMDA.
National Art Honor Society 9-12 Monday Do you like art and service? This club is open to any student who wants to bring art to the attention of the school and community. Activities include stage design, costume design, commemorative artworks, BBS mosaics, Carnival stickers and more. This internationally recognized membership will enhance your college application and leadership roles are available. Graduating NAHS students receive honor cords that are worn at graduation in recognition of their contributions.
Please note: if you join in semester 1, you do not need to sign up or pay again in semester 2 and you are eligible for the hoodie by following the bylaws.

National Honors Society

9-12 Monday The NHS program empowers and equips students with the knowledge and skills to be transformative leaders in your school, community, and beyond. In addition, it provides a necessary bridge between students and school leaders—helping you to engage and hear what students think, feel, and need.
Press Committee 9-10 Monday Do you have the passion to learn how to communicate with us and write a press release? The opportunity is now in front of you. Join us in the press release committee.
The Perspective Podcast 11 and 12 Tuesday The Perspective Podcast is an audio-driven student-led club that aims to initiate insightful conversations with students and staff about school events and other inspirational topics.
Guitar Club 9-12 TBD Guitar Club is a fun place to learn the basics of playing guitar, from simple chords to easy songs you’ll recognize, while jamming and practicing with friends.
It’s the perfect way to kick off your guitar journey in a relaxed and social setting.
High School Student Council 9-12 Full Year Student-led activities involved in organizing high school events.
