| Infinity Math Mentors | High school mentors, Middle and Primary school participants | Tuesday | The objective of this activity is to provide additional academic assistance in mathematics and cover some gaps that students face during their transition from middle to high school. The activity will operate as a peer tutoring and mentoring program. High school students will be invited to participate as mentors, supporting younger students with their mathematics learning. |
| LAMDA Public Speaking | 9-12 | Tuesday | LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) offers examinations that are accredited by the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA). It progresses from Foundation to Intermediate and Advanced Levels, where the Foundation and Intermediate Levels students are awarded LAMDA Certificates. The Advanced Level students are awarded Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals in addition to LAMDA Certificates, and UCAS points supporting their university applications. In this Public Speaking LAMDA course, students will develop the confidence to deliver powerful and engaging speeches, as they build the foundations of effective public speaking. Learners will write their own speeches, research topics, create visual aids, and present them from memory. They will also develop the ability to speak clearly and project their voice to an audience. Students will discover the techniques they require to engage an audience and structure their speech effectively. This course prepares the students to take the official examination in LAMDA. |
| National Art Honor Society | 9-12 | Monday | Do you like art and service? This club is open to any student who wants to bring art to the attention of the school and community. Activities include stage design, costume design, commemorative artworks, BBS mosaics, Carnival stickers and more. This internationally recognized membership will enhance your college application and leadership roles are available. Graduating NAHS students receive honor cords that are worn at graduation in recognition of their contributions. Please note: if you join in semester 1, you do not need to sign up or pay again in semester 2 and you are eligible for the hoodie by following the bylaws. Please note: if you want to join in semester 2, you need to pay and you are not eligible for the hoodie until next school year. |
