Meet our Head of Schools

Mr. Medhat Al Merabi

Head of Schools

Dear Bayan School Community,

Welcome to Bahrain Bayan School, where every learner is known, challenged, and supported. Our work centers on what matters most: strong family connections, coherent and high-impact instruction, positive behavior and fair discipline, excellence in teaching and learning, and a close partnership between school and home.
We honour families as essential partners in education. Through open communication, meaningful involvement, and shared decision-making, we build relationships that help every child thrive. Learning is strongest when school and home work as one team, and we invite parents to stay connected, review learning plans, celebrate progress, and communicate with us early and often.

Across subjects and grade levels, our curriculum, teaching practices, assessments, and supports are aligned for clarity and consistency. This instructional coherence ensures that every lesson moves purposefully toward shared outcomes and that progress is visible for students, teachers, and leaders alike.
We foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive culture. Expectations are taught and reinforced; consequences are fair, educational, and restorative so that students learn responsibility, repair relationships, and make better choices.

Outstanding teaching changes lives. We invest in professional learning, classroom coaching, and evidence-informed practices that engage students in thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. High expectations are always paired with high levels of support for every learner.

We believe learning is a team sport. Collaboration, among students, teachers, and families, deepens understanding and builds the communication, empathy, and leadership skills our graduates need. Through design thinking, students learn to define real-world problems, empathise with users, prototype solutions, and iterate based on feedback, developing resilience, creativity, and a mindset for innovation. Our commitment to social-emotional learning ensures that every classroom intentionally nurtures wellbeing, self-management, and positive relationships, so students feel safe to take risks, learn from mistakes, and grow.

Thank you for your ongoing trust and collaboration. Together, as the Bayan Community, we cultivate character, community, and a love of learning.

Warm regards,
Medhat Mohamed Merabi
