At Bahrain Bayan School, we believe that a strong future begins with a clear vision. Strategic planning is at the heart of how we grow, innovate, and continue to deliver an exceptional learning experience for our students. Our journey began with the Board’s approval of our first major plan in 2014–15, and since then, strategic planning has become an essential, evolving part of who we are as a school.

Today, we are guided by our current 2021–2026 Strategic Plan—a bold, forward-thinking roadmap developed in partnership with our Chairperson Dr. Shaikha May Al Otaibi, the Board of Trustees, and renowned strategic planning expert Dr. Teresa Arpin of Transformation Systems, Ltd.

This five-year plan is more than a document; it is our blueprint for progress. It strengthens every dimension of school and student life, celebrates our Bahraini identity and values, and prepares our learners to become confident, internationally minded bilingual citizens ready to make a positive impact on the world.

How the 2021–2026 Plan Took Shape

Creating a strategic plan at BBS is a highly collaborative and community-driven process. Over months of structured events and workshops—anchored in our mission, vision, core values, and strategic priorities—our teams worked together to design a plan that truly reflects the spirit of Bayan.

Three specialized teams played a vital role:

• Core Planning Team – setting the strategic direction
• Measurement Design Team – defining how progress will be measured
• Action Planning Team – translating ideas into concrete steps

These teams brought together teachers, leaders, parents, students, and external partners who contributed their insights, expertise, and passion. Their shared dedication helped create a thoughtful and ambitious plan that continues to guide our growth during the 2021–2026 cycle.

Looking Ahead: Planning Our Next Strategic Cycle

As we near the end of the 2021–2026 plan, we are excited to embark on the next chapter of our strategic journey. Planning for our upcoming strategic cycle is already underway.

This new plan will build on the strong foundation we’ve established—expanding our vision, addressing emerging needs, and shaping transformative initiatives that will drive Bayan forward for years to come.
