At Bahrain Bayan School, every student deserves the right support at the right time. Our Additional Educational Assistance (AEA) program provides targeted academic and developmental support for students who benefit from a more personalized approach to learning and wellbeing.

Using a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), we identify student needs early and work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure students receive the appropriate level of care. Our team offers a range of services—including in-class support, small-group intervention, individualized learning plans, and targeted Tier 3 instruction—aimed at strengthening foundational skills, boosting confidence, and helping students thrive in their academic subjects.

AEA teachers partner closely with classroom teachers to design effective differentiation, track progress, and provide evidence-based strategies that help students meet grade-level expectations. Placement in AEA is based on ongoing data, student needs, and team recommendations, and is reviewed regularly to ensure the right fit for each learner.
